[New Spell] Domain of my Deity

Domain of my deity

Valance snickered as Chalk winced.

‘It’s not that bad.’

‘This place is crawling with spiders!’ shrieked the wizard.

‘This is the best I can do, we are pretty battered from that ambush,’ said the priest of the Spider God.

Koram shivered as a large spider crept from the collar of his tunic.

‘Why can’t you just heal like other clerics!’ the fighter asked.

Valance sat back on the cold stone of the altar of the Spider God looking like a twisted king on an ancient throne.

‘I was never taught those spells.’

Domain of my deity (Cleric)

Level 4

Range: Touch

Duration: One week per level of caster.

When this spell is cast upon any small building or area sacred to a deity, such as a small roadside shrine or a temple the target begins to take on aspects of what the god or goddess represents (roughly a 60′ radius). For example snakes will be plentiful around a temple to a serpent deity or the shrine of a sun deity will appear brighter and every brick and stone will seem to glow. Followers of the particular deity are not negatively affected and will heal one extra point of damage per day if injured and within 10′ of the affected area and any clerics or priests of the deity in question may cast one extra spell per day if thy have spent at least one turn (ten minutes) within this zone and can turn undead as if two levels higher. Anyone opposed to the deity will be -1 on all rolls within this area.
